Since her first performance at age 16, Kathy has been a busy professional singer, getting her roots as a Voice Major in the Fine Arts Humber College Music program in Toronto, Canada and studying with a variety of private voice teachers. Kathy then joined the military and was posted in Ottawa where after Basic Training, Sergeant Thompson was the vocalist for the Royal Canadian Air Force 55-piece Central Band for 3 years, and was also a staff music copyist/calligrapher. Since then she has done performances numbering into the thousands: clubs, festivals, corporate events, private functions, television, film & recordings.
